HENDERSON, Tenn. - The Freed-Hardeman Lady Lion soccer team secured their fourth conference victory of the season Thursday night with a 4-1 win over Williams Baptist College, as Samantha Clymer recorded her second hat trick of the season.

The Lady Lions (6-4, 4-1 AMC) put plenty of pressure on the Eagles defense, as they attempted 25 shots and 14 shots on goal compared to Williams Baptist (2-7-1, 1-4-1 AMC) who attempted just five shots and four shots on goal in the match.

Samantha Clymer once again led the Lady Lions on the attack, as she combined for three goals in the match-up while attempting five shots on goal. Clymer and Sydney Dubiel were in sync the entire night, as Dubiel contributed two of the assists for Clymer's three goals. Avis Van Kampen rounded out the scoring for the Lady Lions, as she contributed a goal in the first minute of the match to get things started off on a positive note.

Dubiel contributed three assists in the match and gave the Eagle defense fits the entire night with her speed. Erin Douglas was solid in goal for the Lady Lions, as she saved three of the four shots she faced and allowed just one goal in the win.

Van Kampen got the scoring drive started for the Lady Lions in the first minute of the match, as she headed in a goal off a cross by Sydney Dubiel to put FHU up 1-0.

The Eagles mustered one goal of their own in the first half, as Madeline Mead found the back of the net in the 13th minute to even things up at one apiece. However, the tie would not last for long and Clymer made sure of it, as she fired in her first goal of the night in the 29th minute off an assist by Nina Carolissen to give the Lady Lions a 2-1 lead entering the half.

Clymer continued her dominance in the second half, as she found the back of the net two more times in the 53rd and 83rd minutes off assists by Dubiel to give the Lady Lions all the cushion they needed to secure the 4-1 win.

With the win, the Lady Lions improve to 6-4 on the season and 4-1 in conference play. Williams Baptist College falls to 2-7-1 on the season and 1-4-1 in AMC play with the loss.
