SCOUTING THE LADY EAGLES
Lambuth (16-4) brings a six-game winning streak into tonight's contest. During the streak, the Lady Eagles have defeated three teams ranked in the NAIA Top 25 including No. 3 Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.), 80-62. Tonight marks the first of four straight games for Lambuth against nationally ranked opponents.

The Lady Eagles love to let it fly from behind the arc, ranking third in the nation in 3-pointers made per game (9.9). Seven players have made 14 or more 3-pointers with Kayla Bryant (42) and C.T. Kintchen (36) leading the way. Lambuth usually utilizes as four-out/ one-in offense and the threat of the 3-pointer opens the inside for players like Donna Lavea, who averages 10.2 points per game.

LADY LION LOWDOWN
  • Career night, again: Two days after setting career highs in points and rebounds against No. 3 Trevecca, Meribeth Boehler did it again against Cumberland with 25 points and 16 rebounds. The 16 boards was the most by any Lady Lion since Leah Holcomb grabbed 17 against Fresno Pacific (Calif.) on Mar. 14, 2002.
  • Fresh 31: Freshman Hannah Parsley became just the third freshman in Lady Lion history to score 30 or more points in a game after dropping 31 against Cumberland on Saturday. The other two freshmen to score 30-plus were Mary Beth Berry (30 vs. Lambuth on 12/2/02) and Jana Cross (34 vs. Lambuth on 1/27/07).
  • Sharp shooting: FHU is shooting 46.6 percent from the field as a team this season, good for fourth nationally.
  • Doing it with defense: Over their last four games, the Lady Lions have held their opponents under 60 points and are allowing opponents to shoot just 35 percent over that stretch.
