Kenniel Hyde.
His performance did not go unnoticed, as the sophomore was named the TranSouth Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon.
Hyde scored eight of FHU's 11 goals on the week and assisted on another while recording two hat tricks in three matches. He scored all three of the Lions' goals against Point (Ga.) University, followed that with a pair of tallies in a 3-1 win over Williams Baptist (Ark.) College, and finished the week with another three-goal effort against Toccoa Falls (Ga.) College. Hyde's three goals against Toccoa Falls all came in the first half, and he added an assist in the Lions 5-0 win.
Before today's match with Johnson (Tenn.) University, he led the NAIA in total goals scored with eight, and was second in the NAIA in game-winning goals with two.
