HENDERSON, Tenn. - The Freed-Hardeman men's soccer team will host their first conference match of the season as they face Saint Louis College of Pharmacy (Mo.) on Saturday at the Josh Riley Soccer Complex.

SETTING THE STAGE

The Lions (2-2) are coming off a hard-fought 2-1 win last Saturday over Concordia College-Selma, which evened up their season record at 2-2. In that game, the Lions received an early goal by George Achard off a pass from Matt Mescher. A late penalty kick by Jermaine Steele in the 82nd minute propelled FHU to their second victory of the season. Being able to come out victorious in a hard-fought game against a competitive Concordia College team, should give the Lions confidence coming into tonight's matchup with Saint Louis College of Pharmacy.

WHO TO WATCH

Jermaine Steele (MF, SR; Westmoreland, Jamaica.)

Jermaine Steele came up big for the Lions last Saturday night with a late penalty kick in the 82nd minute of the match, giving the Lions a 2-1 victory over Concordia College Selma. The penalty kick marked the first goal of the season for Steele and may be just what he needs to get his offense going in 2015. In 2014, Steele scored 6 goals, dished out 4 assists, and fired in 25 shots on goal. Look for Steele to be a force on the offensive end in tonight's match.
