Box Score HENDERSON, Tenn. – The Lions soccer team (0-1) fell in its season opener against Williams Baptist (7-1, 3-1 AMC) 5-1 on Tuesday night.
It was a back-and-forth game to start, but the Eagles were able to net two goals in the first half to take the 2-1 lead into break.
They went on to score two more in the second half before Marcel Ryfa was able to put his first career goal as a Lion in the back of the net on the assist by Jack O'Riordan. Williams Bapstist scored another to put the game out of reach.
The Lions will continue their season on February 4 when they travel to Middle Georgia State.
