Box Score HENDERSON, Tenn. – The Lions soccer team (7-9, 3-8 MSC) fell 1-0 in a defensive clinic on Tuesday to Bethel (12-5, 7-4 MSC) in the regular-season finale.
After a deadlocked first half in which there were five shots on goal combined between the two teams, the Wildcats were able to break through in the 55th minute to take a 1-0 lead.
In the second half, the Lions were outshot 13-3, but the Lions made the most of their three shots, putting all on frame, but unable to find the back of the net.
Kenneth Ramirez and Roger Castelltort combined for three shots in their final home game in an FHU uniform, and Calum Langdale recorded a season-high nine saves on his senior night.
