JACKSON, Tenn. – The Lions soccer team (1-3, 1-2 MSC) fell 2-0 to Georgetown College (2-1-1, 1-0-1 MSC) on Tuesday to close out their home stand.

The Tigers were able to get on the board early in both halves, scoring their first goal in the 13th minute and their second in the 50th.

While the Lions were only able to get off two shots in the first half, the second half wasn't without its chances, matching Georgetown 4-4 on shots. But those shots couldn't find the back of the net, and the Lions finished the game with the shutout loss.

They will head on the road for a four-game road stand starting on Sunday when they take on Life University. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. central time.
