HENDERSON — Two runners will represent Freed-Hardeman University in the second annual NAIA Marathon National Championship. Zena Dorris and Drew Williams will visit Sacramento, California to compete.

The NAIA Marathon National Championship will take place as part of California International Marathon

Qualifications for this event took place across 12 weeks beginning in August. in order to qualify the runners had to do two things: average 50 miles a week and run two separate two hour runs. The association then took the data from each individual two hour run, and averaged the pace - then ranked all athletes based on pace and created a top 50.
