Tallahassee- Fla. - On November 21, 2025, two of Freed-Hardeman University's cross country runners competed for the final time this season. Senior Eliza Poe, who has set PR and school records all season long, ended her cross country career back at her home course in Tallahassee, Fla. with another personal best time. In a race against 331 of the best women's cross country runners, Poe came across the finish line in 63rd place, in 22:52, five seconds faster than her previous best time.
Mary Pearce, making her second consecutive National Championship appearance, also finished in the top-100. She finished the race in 22:52, placing 98th in the field. Pearce was able to improve both her time and finishing place from last year's National Championship race.
