The Lions open Mid-South Conference play tonight against No. 10 Lindsey Wilson. The 7 p.m. match marks FHU's first conference contest of the season.
2. Lions Are Unbeaten
Freed-Hardeman enters the match at 3-0-3, including a 3-0 shutout of Mission on Saturday. The Lions have yet to suffer a loss this season.
3. Setterberg Stays Hot
Senior forward Noah Setterberg leads the Lions with four goals through six matches. He scored in the opening minutes against Mission and registered five shots, including three on target.
4. Tough Task
Lindsey Wilson was picked second in the Mid-South Conference preseason poll, while FHU was picked seventh. The Blue Raiders went 12-4-1 last season and have made 11 straight postseason appearances.
5. Misleading Record
Though the Blue Raiders hold a 1-2-0 overall record, all three matches have been against top-15 talent. Their first match was a 2-1 win over No. 11 Life (Ga.) before a pair of losses to No. 6 Indiana Tech and No. 15 Rio Grande (Ohio).
