Dustin Semore joined Freed-Hardeman athletics as the department's Sports Information Director in May of 2022. Semore joins the Lions staff after spending two years in the same position at Crowley's Ridge (Ark.) College.

"Dustin is a fantastic addition to our staff. He is passionate about Freed-Hardeman and passionate about promoting student-athletes, both on and off the field. I am excited that Dustin will be able to shine the spotlight on the great things our coaches, players, and teams continue to do," Jonathan Estes, Assistant Athletic Director, said.

Semore graduated from FHU in 2014 and worked extensively with the sports information department while a student. Additionally, Semore broadcast Lion and Lady Lion baseball, basketball, softball, and soccer for the campus radio station, WFHU FM91 Sports.

Before joining the FHU staff as the SID, Semore was a full-time preacher for congregations in Mississippi, Alabama, and last at the South Thornton Church of Christ in Piggott, Arkansas.

"I'm so excited to be returning to my alma mater. I love Freed-Hardeman University and cannot wait to tell the stories of the amazing young men and women who have chosen to continue their athletic and academic careers at a place so dear to my heart," Semore said. "Most of the coaches are still in their respective positions from when I was a student, which speaks to their longevity and love for FHU. I'm excited to work with them as well as with Coach Estes in his new role."

Semore is married to Olivia and they have one dog, Mickey, two cats: Bagheera and Shere Khan, and a massive Disney obsession. He is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, College Sports Communicators, and NAIA-SIDA.

When not cheering the Lions or Lady Lions, Semore inexplicably loves cheering on the Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club and England's national Test team.

Beginning in January of 2025, Semore serves as the pulpit minister for the Cades church of Christ in Milan.
