The strength of MMC's offense lies in the frontcourt. 6-foot-1 forward T'Qwana Pendergrass, a junior transfer from Motlow State (Tenn.) Community College, has proven to be a force in the paint in her first season with the team. Another JUCO transfer, Nakisha Strickland from Walters State (Tenn.) Community College, gives MMC an additional option inside. Forward Whitney Robison is the team's top option off the bench, averaging 11.4 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. On the perimeter, junior Lauran Hudgins is the RedHawks' top threat from behind the arc with a team-leading 37 3-pointers made.
