Box Score 2 MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Just as they did last night, the Freed-Hardeman Lady Lions took three straight games after narrowly losing the first game, defeating Loyola (La.) University 3-1 at the Rhodes Invitational on Saturday.
Loyola edged FHU in the first game, 28-26, but the Lady Lions took control afterward, winning the next three games 25-21, 25-21, and 25-10.
Freed-Hardeman's balanced attack caused trouble for the Wolfpack as three players - 
Nataly Gutierrez (18), 
Claire Pennington (17), and 
Diana Silva (12) - had double digits in kills.  Setters 
Amber Turner and 
Carissa Foshee combined for 52 assits, and libero 
Callie West served up four aces and had a team-high 18 digs.
FHU (2-3) finishes up the Rhodes Invitational later today against Birmingham Southern College.
