Box Score 2 LEBANON, Tenn. - The Freed-Hardeman Lady Lions had three players reach double-digits in kills as the team picked up a four-set win over Cumberland (Tenn.) University on Thursday night (25-13, 25-11, 22-25, 25-14).
FHU was four points away from a sweep, leading 21-16 in the third set before Cumberland came back with six straight points and eventually won the set. The Lady Lions, however, controlled the other three sets in picking up their 18th win of the season.
It was only the second conference win this season that FHU has not swept.

Fernanda Ferreira (13) combined for 44 of FHU's 56 kills, combining for an attack percentage over .400. Ferreira also led the defense at the net with seven block assists as FHU totaled nine team blocks in the match.
Sandra Montoya and
Callie West each had 14 digs on the back row.
FHU now heads to Georgetown, Ky., for the Bone Yard Brawl on Saturday and Sunday where they will play a total of four matches and face two NAIA Top 25 teams.
