Box Score HENDERSON, Tenn. - Freed-Hardeman women's basketball coach Dale Neal is third among active NAIA coaches in total wins, according to records released by the association earlier this month.
Neal, in his 17th season at Freed-Hardeman, sported a record of 444-151 entering the 2011-12 season. He ranks behind only Robin Hagen-Smith of Shawnee State (Ohio) with 590 wins in 23 seasons and Stephanie Findley of Oklahoma Christian with 512 wins in 26 seasons.
Fellow TranSouth Conference coaches Gary Van Atta (Trevecca Nazarene) and Mark Campbell (Union University) are also in the top 10 at sixth and seventh respectively. Campbell is tops in winning percentage as his Lady Bulldogs have won 89.3 percent of their games while he has been on the bench.
Freed-Hardeman is currently ranked No. 6 in the NAIA Coaches Poll.
