SETTING THE STAGE
The Lions (15-2, 10-1) hold a narrow one-game lead at the halfway point of the conference schedule over Columbia (Mo.). FHU is coming off an impressive 81-58 win over Lindenwood-Belleville (Ill.) on Saturday while Harris-Stowe (3-14, 2-10) has lost eight of its last nine.

LAST TIME THEY MET
FHU slowly pulled away behind the play of Cameron Lewis (31 points) and Evan Forhetz (18 points) to pick up an 86-66 win over Harris-Stowe on Nov. 20 in St. Louis.

INSIDE THE SERIES
The Lions have won five straight games in the series and hold a 7-1 lead all-time. The last win for the Hornets came on Nov. 27, 1998, by the score of 93-86 on a neutral floor. FHU is 5-0 against HSSU at home.

SHUT 'EM DOWN
FHU avenged two of last season's losses on Saturday with an 81-58 blowout of Lindenwood-Belleville (Ill.). The Lions led by 20 at halftime and led by as many as 32 in the second half. FHU held the Lynx - the conference's top-scoring team - to a season-low scoring output.

TOP 10 AGAIN
The Lions came in at No. 7 in this week's national ratings, marking the 14th time in the last 15 polls that FHU has been in the top 10. FHU was unranked in the preseason poll but jumped to No. 10 in the first regular-season poll and have stayed top 10 since.

SWAT TEAM
The Lions swatted away a season-high nine shots on Saturday with Vincent Dotson, Isaiah Harrison, Mika Nuolivirta and Joseph Williams all registering two blocks apiece. FHU ranks 15th in the NAIA with 3.9 blocks per game.

MACK IS BACK
Senior forward Chandler Mack made his first appearance of the 2014-15 season on Saturday, playing 13 minutes and scoring two points in the FHU win. Meanwhile, Isaiah Harrison and Debrell McLemore have both continued to improve their production after returning earlier this month. Harrison had 11 points and eight rebounds in Saturday's win.

CONFERENCE LEADERS
Evan Forhetz (7.3 assists) and Vincent Dotson (1.4 blocks) currently lead the conference in those statistical categories. Cameron Lewis ranks third in scoring with 17.9 points per game while Dotson ranks second in rebounds (8.2) and Forhetz ranks third in steals (2.1). Ben Meis also ranks second in 3-pointers made with 54.

SCOUTING THE HORNETS
The Hornets are looking to break out of a slump that has seen them lose eight of their last nine games. The absence of Davell Lloyd hasn't helped, as the senior guard was averaging 14.1 points per game. He hasn't played since Dec. 4. Trevor Roberts is the team's leading scorer at 14.9 points per game. HSSU has struggled on the boards with a rebound margin of minus-8.0 and also turns the ball over an average of 3.6 times per game more than its opponents.
