SETTING THE STAGE
Williams Baptist (13-17) won on Monday in its first-round game over Hannibal-LaGrange (Mo.), 64-57. Porche Hall had a double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds as the Eagles overcame a seven-point halftime deficit. Freed-Hardeman (29-1) looks to repeat as conference tournament champions after taking the crown last year in its first season in the AMC.

LAST TIME THEY MET
Paige Melville scored 25 points while Hayley Newby had 17 points and 10 rebounds as FHU breezed to a 93-43 win over Williams Baptist on Feb. 23 in Henderson. Newby grabbed her 1000th career rebound in the win.

INSIDE THE SERIES
The Lady Lions have won 11 straight games over the Eagles and lead the all-time series, 14-6. WBC's last win over Freed-Hardeman came on Jan. 16, 1997.

PERFECT RUN
With a 79-52 win over Lindenwood-Belleville (Ill.) on Saturday, the Lady Lions capped off a perfect 24-0 run through the conference's regular season schedule. It marks the second time that FHU has gone unbeaten in conference play in the regular season, also playing without a blemish in 2013 in the TranSouth Conference's final season with a 14-0 conference mark.

REACHING 1000
On Monday, Hayley Newby became the sixth player in program history to record 1000 career rebounds with her 10th rebound of the game against Williams Baptist (Ark.). She joins Grace Alonso de Armino in the 1000-rebound club as her teammate made it in January.

MARGINALLY SPEAKING
FHU continues to be among the nation's best in the margin statistical categories. The Lady Lions currently lead the NAIA in scoring margin (31.1) and rebounding margin (15.0) and are third in turnover margin (8.6). FHU also ranks in the top five nationally in 10 statistical categories and in the top 15 in 15 categories.

MOVING ON UP
Hayley Newby enters today's game ranking 11th in FHU history in career points with 1746, needing 18 points to move into 10th place. She also ranks ninth in career field goals made (689), sixth in career rebounds (1015) and seventh in career free throws made (364). Grace Alonso de Armino, meanwhile, ranks third in career rebounds (1100) and sixth in career steals (224).

LOOKING FOR 30
A win tonight would give FHU its 30th win of the season. It would be the third straight season in which the team has won 30 or more games. FHU had four consecutive 30-win seasons from 2003-2006.

MORE WINS THAN ANYONE ELSE
Lady Lion seniors Hayley Newby and Grace Alonso de Armino have won more games than any other players in Freed-Hardeman history. Since coming to FHU in the 2011-12 season, the Lady Lions are an amazing 127-11. The previous record of 123 wins was held by the 2006 senior class that included Ashlee Robertson, Julie Hayes, Stacey Bullard and Hannah Wood.

WINNING BIG
Of Freed-Hardeman's 29 wins this season, only two have been by fewer than 10 points - and both of those have been at home, where the Lady Lions have been virtually unbeatable. FHU's closest games this season have been a pair of five-point wins over Bethel (Tenn.) and Hannibal-LaGrange (Mo.).
