The Lions would continue their hot shooting in the second half as they shot 58.7 percent from the field and 64.7 percent from behind the arc. The Lions held a slight edge for a majority of the second half, but struggled to pull away until Orlando Bass would open the game up by picking crashing the boards on a missed three-point field goal by Trevor Randolph and putting it back in with a foul for a traditional three-point play to put the Lions up 91-87.
Bass would do it again moments later at the 1:30 mark as Trevor Randolph would come up with a steal and send an outlet pass down the floor, where Bass was able to make another layup with a foul to achieve another three-point play to put the Lions up seven at the one minute mark. The cushion proved to be all the Lions needed as they were able to make free throws down the stretch to secure the 100-89 victory.
