BATESVILLE, Ark. - The Freed-Hardeman Lady Lion Volleyball team capped off their road trip in impressive fashion Saturday, as they picked up a 3-1 win over Lyon College in Batesville, Ark.
The Lady Lions (11-7, 5-4 AMC) were led by Bojana Antunovic and Claire Walker, as both players reached double digits on the attack. Antunovic led the way and recorded 21 kills in the match while Walker followed close behind with 16 kills.
Emma Self distributed the ball well for the Lady Lions, as she dished out 46 of FHU's 48 assists while Reilly Fulton countered the Bethel attack well with 21 defensive digs.
Emma Self also found success at the service line, as she contributed two service aces in the win. The Lady Lions compiled 52 kills in the match and hit .189 compared to Lyon College (16-14, 4-4 AMC), who compiled 49 kills with a .139 hitting percentage.
With the win, the Lady Lions move to 11-7 on the season and 5-4 in conference play. Lyon College falls to 16-14 on the season and 4-4 in AMC play with the loss.
UP NEXT: The Lady Lions are back in action Saturday, October 27th, as they host Williams Baptist College for a 1:00 PM match-up at the Brewer Sports Center.
