Despite the loss, the Lady Lions held their own in each of the three sets, as several players contributed solid minutes including Bojana Antunovic, who led FHU on the attack with 15 kills. Claire Walker followed close behind with 13 kills whle Emma Self dished out 39 assists. Reilly Fulton countered the Lynx attack well with 24 defensive digs.
The Lynx (13-14) out-hit the Lady Lions 55-44 in the match, led by Briana Webb, who recorded 15 kills in the win. Kayla Bailey followed close behind with 12 kills while Kourtney Knox dished out 27 assists.
With the loss, the Lady Lions fall to 12-9 on the season and 6-5 in conference play. Lindenwood-Belleville improves to 13-14 on the season and 7-4 in AMC play with the win.
UP NEXT: The Lady Lions are back in action Saturday, as they host St. Louis College of Pharmacy for a 1:00 PM match-up at the Brewer Sports Center. Saturday's match will also serve as Senior Day, where the senior members of the Lady Lion Volleyball team will be honored.
