BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — A day before the Mid-South Conference Tournament begins, the league announced the 2025 postseason awards.
Audrey Orton was selected to the first team while
Iza Wos and
Avery Young were chosen for the second team. 15 Lady Lion volleyball players were named to the Academic All-Conference team.
Audrey Orton had her best year in her swansong season in every statistical category. She leads FHU with 282 kills with an average of 2.41 per set. Her biggest improvement came defensively where her 292 digs added nearly 100 to her junior year's total. She had her best year in both service aces (43) and assists (17) while tallying her career's best performance with a 19-kill effort in a victory over Bethel.
In her senior year,
Iza Wos was honored for the first time to the second team. She doubled her offensive output from 2024 to 2025 by registering 205 kills at a .299 clip. On the front row she led FHU with 58 total blocks. In her final season as a Lady Lion,
Avery Young also tallied career-highs in nearly every statistic. She had 266 kills with 45 service aces. Her 316 digs was a 240% increase from her junior year's total of 93 while also blocking a career-best 35.0 total.
In addition to the on-court awards, several Lady Lions were honored as Academic All-Conference. To be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and be in their third term or fourth quarter. For FHU,

Avery Young were selected from FHU's varsity program. From the JV team, Karlyn Denny, Elizabeth Edwards, Audrey Johnson, Rebekah Pepper, Kathryn Pepper, Addison Pope, and Carissa Thompson earned the award.
The final postseason award was given to
Cate Schroer who was nominated as FHU's Champion of Character. The MSC recognizes a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport. The student-athletes honored on the Champions of Character Team were nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on and off campus, as well as their demonstration of the five core character values of the NAIA.
