HENDERSON, Tenn. – The No. 1 Lady Lions (29-2, 23-2 AMC) blew past Harris-Stowe (14-16, 11-14 AMC) 74-49 on Wednesday to advance to the American Midwest Conference semifinals.

The Lady Hornets shot lights out in the first quarter and even held a slight lead, but the Lady Lions were able to storm back on a 10-0 run to take a three-point lead, and they would hold the lead until the end of the game.

Haylee Croom recorded her 19th double-double of the year with 18 points and 13 rebounds.

Carrie Hatchel also recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds, six of which were off the offensive glass.

Sandrea Sylman matched Croom with 18 points, and Chynia Brooks scored eight points in her return from injury.

Jamie Crum pulled down seven rebounds.

The Lady Lions will host the No. 4 seed William Woods on Friday at 7 p.m. in the semifinals of the AMC Tournament.
