ST. LOUIS, Mo. – A strong shooting performance from the Lady Lions (11-5, 8-3 AMC) led to a big win on Saturday afternoon, taking down Missouri Baptist (4-11, 4-7 AMC) 79-51 to close out the two-game Missouri road trip.

The Lady Lions got out to a strong start and never let up, mostly behind the play of Haylee Croom, who finished the contest with her fifth straight and 11th total double-double, scoring 24 points – 20 in the first half – and pulling down 13 rebounds.

The Lady Lions will return home on Thursday when they take on Lindenwood-Belleville. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
