Box Score ST. LOUIS, Mo. – In a matchup against a former conference foe, the Lady Lions (5-5, 0-4 MSC) fell 75-58 to Missouri Baptist (3-0) on Friday night.
Other than a couple ties to start the game, the Spartans led for the entire game, never allowing the Lady Lions to get into a rhythm.
The Lady Lions had four players in double digits, led by Caroline Chambers, who finished the contest with 16 points.
Hannah Hughes had a strong game, finishing with 15 points. Raegan Purvine had 12 points, including three 3-pointers, and Alyssa LeMay finished with 15 rebounds and 10 points to complete the double-double.
The Lady Lions will be back in action on Saturday when they take on Harris-Stowe at 1:30 p.m.
