No. 2 Campbellsville knocks off Lady Lions in final game of road trip

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The Lady Lions (7-8, 1-7 MSC) fell 82-51 to No. 2 Campbellsville University (8-0, 4-0 MSC) on Monday afternoon in a makeup game that was originally scheduled for December 5.

It was all Tigers from the jump, with their pressure defense causing issues for the Lady Lions. Campbellsville was able to go on an 11-0 run to open the contest, and they would never look back.

Caroline Chambers finished with a double-double in the contest, scoring 12 points on 4-of-7 shooting, and pulling down 14 rebounds, tying a career high.

Alyssa LeMay scored 10 points and pulled down seven rebounds in the contest.

The Lady Lions will return home on Thursday when they take on No. 9 Thomas More. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
