COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lady Lions volleyball team (8-17, 1-13 MSC) fell in straight sets (10-25, 13-25, 18-25) to No. 21 Lindsey Wilson (19-5, 11-3 MSC) on Tuesday night.

After only being tied early on in the first set, the Blue Raiders were able to take control of the set after going on a 7-0 run to make it a 12-5 lead.

Lindsey Wilson was able to continue to get out to hot starts in the second and third sets, and strong defense kept the Lady Lions at bay to earn the sweep.

Kacey Donegan had 10 kills at a 38-percent clip to go along with seven digs in the contest.

Allie Humphry finished the game with 22 assists.

The Lady Lions will play their final road game of the regular season on Monday when they travel to take on former American Midwest Conference rival Lyon. Game time is set for 6:45 p.m.
