Box Score HENDERSON, Tenn. – The Lady Lions (3-0) opened up the Christian College Classic on Friday afternoon with a blowout win over Williams Baptist (1-4), taking out the former American Midwest Conference rival 107-74.
There were five lead changes early in the contest, but despite that, it was all FHU from beginning to end, with the offense completey rolling over the Eagles.
The Lady Lions shot 48 percent from the field, 37 percent from behind the arc, while outrebounding Williams Baptist 42-28 and scoring 21 points off of 15 Eagles turnovers.
Five Lady Lions scored in double digits in the win, led by Alyssa LeMay, who had 23 points and 11 rebounds.
She was followed by Reagen Floyd, who scored 17 points, Kinlee Varnell posted 15 points and six rebounds, Caroline Chambers had 13 points and seven rebounds, and Kaylee Odom came off the bench to score 12 points.
The Lady Lions will close out the Classic on Saturday against Faulkner University. Tip off is scheduled for 2 p.m.
