The second set was tight early, but the Lady Lions were able to gain some separation when they capped off an 8-2 run to take an 11-6 lead. But the Scots quickly battled back and eventually tied the set up at 16-16.

The Lady Lions would go on a 4-1 run to take a three-point lead and wouldn't let Lyon get back in the contest, taking a 2-0 set lead in the match.

After another close start in the third set, the Lady Lions started to gain some separation, taking a 17-12 lead. But the Scots came out strong, going on a 7-1 run to take a 19-18 lead late in the set.

Both teams would trade punches from then on, but it was the Scots who were able to edge out a 26-24 set win to force a fourth set and avoid the sweep.

In the fourth set, it was all Lady Lions from the first serve, taking a quick 5-1 lead. But Lyon came back quickly to take a 6-5 lead.

The Lady Lions would go on a 5-1 run of their own to go up 14-9, and they wouldn't look back, never allowing the Scots to get within two the rest of the match. FHU would go on an 8-0 run behind the serve of Clifft, as well as kills from Donegan and a block from Jackson to seal the game.
