Box Score The Freed-Hardeman University Lions lost a tough matchup against the Georgetown College Tigers in Brewer Sports Center by a score of 73-59.
The Lions started the game strong by scoring 12 unanswered points. However, the Tigers were able to salvage what they could out of the first half. At the end of the first half, the Lions were leading by 8 points.
In the second half, the Lions struggled to find their rhythm. While only managing to convert on 33.3% of field goals and just 7.1% of three pointers, the Lions could not bridge the 22-point gap controlled by the Tigers at the end of the bout.
Kortland Martin and Hunter Scurlock led the way for the team, both scoring double digits. Geraldo Lane grabbed 8 rebounds during the contest.
The Lions, now 10-8 (5-6 MSC), look forward to bouncing back against the Tigers of Campbellsville University on Saturday, January 22 in Henderson, Tennessee.
