HENDERSON — Freed-Hardeman University's women's soccer team dropped their Tuesday evening Mid-South Conference match to the (RV) Bethel (Tenn.) University Wildcats 10-0.
The Lady Lions (2-10-0, 0-4-0 MSC) were on their heels from the starting whistle with Bethel firing 22 shots toward the FHU net. In the first half, the visiting Wildcats maintained possession 62% of the time, not allowing a single FHU shot. In goal,
Brooke Latham had 16 saves, being helped by one team save.
The Lady Wildcats (8-2-0, 3-1-0 MSC) netted five goals in the first half and five in the second half. FHU was able to see
Bailey Morris take a shot from the top of the box, but it sailed to the right of the net to stamp out FHU's lone chance.
