HENDERSON — Before their match, the Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions celebrated the careers of
Tori Ford,
Meghan Hodi,
Jalen Johnson,
Brooke Latham,
Bradi Mason,
Ashton Miller, and Sammy Steggerta on senior day. After the festivities, the Lady Lions faced the (RV) Tigers of Campbellsville (Ky.) University where the guests got the victory 10-0.
The Lady Lions (3-11-0, 0-6-0 MSC) were stunned by the outstanding play from Angeline Kieh, who netted five goals within the first 20 minutes of the contest. FHU faced 17 shots in the first half, 10 of which were on goal.
Abby Schwarz managed to get off two shots, while Laura Kuhnhenrich recorded the lone FHU shot on goal against the Campbellsville (6-6-3, 3-2-1 MSC) keeper.
In her senior night,
Brooke Latham collected six saves on 24 total shots sent her way.
