BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The 2023 Mid-South Conference Cross Country Championships take place Friday at Phil Moore Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
 

The men's 8,000-meter race is slated to begin at 10 a.m. CT followed by the 6,000-meter women's race at 11 a.m. CT.
 

Women's Cross Country

Cumberlands (Ky.) is ranked in the NAIA Women's Cross Country Coaches' Top 25 Poll. The Patriots are ranked 18th with 267 points.

Last season, Cumberlands captured their third-straight conference title and 14th overall and will look to defend their crown at Phil Moore Park.

The top 14 scoring individuals earn all-conference honors with the top finisher earning the conference's runner of the year award
 

Men's Cross Country

Cumberlands is ranked eighth in the NAIA Men's Cross Country Coaches' Poll. The Patriots 439 points in the poll. Lindsey Wilson is mentioned in the receiving votes section of the poll with five points.

Last season,  former MSC-member Shawnee State captured the title while Cumberlands finished runner-up.
