Freed-Hardeman was lifted up to No. 3 in the latest NAIA poll. It marks the 13th consecutive poll the Lions were in the rankings. It's the highest ranking for FHU since they were No. 3 on January 5, 2016.

2. Money in the Bank
The Lions consistently shoot the ball well, shooting over .500 in all but four games. Twice the Lions shot above .600. As a team the Lions are shooting .515, the 10th-best mark in the country.

3. Defense. Freed-Hardeman Style.
One of the strongest defenses in the country, the Lions force 19.3 turnovers per game, the sixth-highest average in the NAIA. The best defensive game came against UT Southern when the Lions forced 36 turnovers.
