LEBANON, Tenn. — Returning to Mid-South Conference play, the Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions fell to the Cumberland (Tenn.) University Phoenix 3-0 (26-24, 25-17-, 25-17).

• The Lady Lions now have a record of 8-8 (0-2 MSC) while the Phoenix hold a 12-8 (1-0 MSC) record.
• Avery Harris led with six kills.
• Catherine Hackett's .231 was the best percentage by the Lady Lions.
• In a 6-2 system, Adleigh Mayes led with 10 assists.
