Gameday Notes

Five Things to Know:

1. Top Play
Ryley McClaran's buzzer-beating 3-pointer against Keiser was named as the NAIA-SIDA Play of the Week.

2. Power Peyton
Peyton Law finds himself in the top five individuals in the Mid-South Conference in four different categories: Points Per Game (3rd, 18.2); Blocks per game (3rd, 1.6); Rebounds Per Game (3rd, 7.0); and FG% (5th, .643)

3. Butterfingers
FHU does a fantastic job on the defensive side of the ball, sitting in third place in the NAIA by forcing 18.4 turnovers per game.

4. Familiar Foes
Freed-Hardeman and Bethel's men's teams lace up for the 83rd time since verifiable records were kept in 1975. The Lions hold a 44-39 edge over the Wildcats.

5. Hometown Heroics
The Lions play some of their best basketball in the Brewer Sports Center, going 29-4 over the last three years. The last time a Mid-South Conference team got the better of the Lions was when Cumberlands hit a buzzer-beating half court shot on January 28, 2023.
