Five Things to Know:

1. Back in the Saddle

Freed-Hardeman is competing in the national tournament for the 29th time. Since the field was expanded in 2021 adding two regional games, this is the first time the Lady Lions have advanced to the final site.

2. Rachel Satter-Three

Rachel Satterly continues to climb the record book as she is now the eighth-most prolific 3-point shooter and one of nine Lady Lions to sink at least 200 in a career.

3. Making Them Count

FHU has three players shooting .500 or better: Lilly Kee leading the charge with .525, Elli Chumley in second shooting .516, and Kaylee Odom connecting with .508 from the floor.

4. Fort Wayne Upsets

Both of the lower-seeded teams won their games in the Fort Wayne bracket, with Indiana Tech upsetting the No.3 seed while the No. 11 seed Stillman upset the No. 6 seed Rio Grande. Tech defeated Stillman to advance to the round of 16.

5. Who to Watch

The tandem of Taylor Covington and Genevieve Decker lead the Warriors with Covington averaging 16.8 points per game while Decker averages 15.3.
