ORLANDO, Fla. — Two matches required a tiebreak set, one set required a tiebreaker, and two sets needed a 12th game to determine a victor as the Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions began their Spring Break trip in Orlando. The Warriors of Hendrix (Ark.) College pulled out the 4-3 victory.

Suri Gomez needed an extra game, but won a their doubles match 7-5 for the Lady Lions (3-8). The duos of
Morgan Brown/
Elise Kruzan and
Cecily Davis/
Kennley Kirk both dropped their matches 6-4.
Elise Kruzan fought hard in her match on the No. 1 singles court, but ultimately fell 7-6 (4), 6-3.
Morgan Brown battled back from a loss in the second set and continued a hard fight in the tiebreak, but lost 6-4, 2-6, 11-9.
Suri Gomez picked up the first win over Hendrix (4-4) in convincing fashion 6-3, 6-0.
Hannah Pearce also got a solid victory 6-1, 6-4 while
Kennley Kirk went to a tiebreak set to win 3-6, 6-3, 10-4.Â
Cecily Davis battled to stay alive, but dropped her match 6-0, 7-5.
