KANSAS CITY, Mo. — As the postseason begins for most spring sports, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the 2025 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete winners.
According to the NAIA, "To qualify as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year."
Softball led the way with 11 honorees, followed by baseball with six. Men's track and field had seven winners while men's tennis had five. Both women's golf and women's tennis had four, women's track and field three, and men's golf saw one awarded.
