BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The sixth-seed Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions tussled with the No. 3 seed Cumberland University Phoenix in the quarterfinal round of the Mid-South Conference Championship. Their season ended with a 4-0 loss to the Phoenix.

Cecily Davis falling 6-1, 6-0 before
Kennley Kirk's 6-2, 6-1 loss clinched the match.
Morgan Brown won her first set 6-3 before having to leave her match unfinished.
Suri Gomez and
Hannah Pearce also had completed one set when the clinching point was won.
