HENDERSON, Tenn. — The Freed-Hardeman men's tennis team turned in a strong performance against Bevill State (Ala.) Community College, claiming a 6-1 victory.
The Lions (3-0) opened doubles play with a 6-2 victory from
Martin Brena and
Schöning Santibáñez at No. 2 doubles.
Tom Marié-Sant and
Tanmay Tomar followed with a 6-1 win at No. 3 doubles.
Benjamin Ganem and
Carlos Garcia battled at No. 1 doubles before falling 7-6(5), 7-5.
In singles, Ganem claimed a 6-3, 6-1 victory at No. 2 singles over BSCC (0-1), while Marié-Sant added a 6-0, 6-4 win at No. 3.
Carlos Garcia also delivered a dominant performance at No. 5 singles, winning 6-0, 6-2.
Dev Prakash secured another victory for the Lions at No. 4 singles, overcoming Kylianne Hamadache in a competitive match 7-6(6), 6-4.

Schöning Santibáñez earned a win by default at No. 1 singles after taking the first set 6-0 and winning the first game of the second set before the match was ended. Bevill State claimed the No. 6 singles match, where Ethan Warner defeated Tomar 6-4, 7-5.
