HENDERSON — Earlier this season, Lady Lion JV volleyball player Rylee Bozeman received the worst of news. She had been diagnosed with leukemia.
Since then, the Lady Lions of both varsity and junior varsity have been supporting their teammate by wearing an orange ribbon - the color of leukemia and kidney cancer awareness. September is also Leukemia Awareness Month. On Tuesday's match against Rust (Miss.) those colors will expand into a full orange-out to honor and support Bozeman.
"Passing for a Purpose" shirts will be on sale for $20 will all proceeds going to benefit the Bozeman family and Rylee's fight. All admission gate fees will also be given to the Bozeman family.
