Women's soccer head coach Lindsay Riggs and volleyball head coach Amanda Bretherick have both picked up assistant coach with the addition of Will Sanders to the soccer pitch and Will White to the volleyball court.
Will Sanders has spent the last four seasons as the middle school head coach for both the boys and girls clubs at South Gibson High School. The 2023 season was the top marks for both programs with the boys winning the regional conference championship with a 10-1 record while the girls finished in third place with a 12-1 record. In addition to his time coaching, Sanders serves with the Tennessee Army National Guard.
Sanders is a 2024 graduate of Freed-Hardeman where an injury sidelined his varsity career, but began his coaching career as he assisted with the junior varsity squad.
