Missie Jenkins

As the Freed-Hardeman Lions and Lady Lions continue their summer preparations for the 2025-26 season, one program will have a new leader. Missie Jenkins has been added as the FHU cheer coach.

Jenkins, who has served FHU in numerous capacities, returns to the sidelines as the cheer coach. She has five years of experience as the coach for the cheer program in addition to many years of gymnastics. In addition to her new cheer role, she will continue to serve as Coordinator of Accessibility Services.

"I am incredibly honored and excited to return as the cheer coach for the Freed-Hardeman University Lions," said Jenkins. "This program holds a special place in my heart, and I'm eager to step back into this role with energy, passion, and a renewed vision. I look forward to working alongside such talented athletes and building a program that not only represents the spirit and excellence of FHU but also makes a lasting impact on and off the sidelines. The future is bright for Lion Cheer, and I can't wait to see what we accomplish together."
