Box Score HENDERSON, Tenn. - The Redhawks of Martin Methodist (Tenn.) College entered
tonight's match with a No. 5 ranking in the country, and proved their worth
in every way possible against the Lady Lions of Freed-Hardeman
University with a 7-0 victory at the Josh Riley Soccer Complex.
The Redhawks (5-1) forced the Lady Lions (1-4) to play defense the entire 90 minutes, not allowing a single shot to be fired at the keeper.
Abbey Adkins and
Olivia Poteete, however, were forced to share 24 shots fired at them, 15 of those being on target.
Mor Efraim led the way for her Redhawks with two goals, sharing the scoring with five other Redhawk players.
The Lady Lions have a week off before hosting conference foe Bethel (Tenn.) University.
