Henderson - The day started off by honoring the Lady Lions seniors at 1:30pm, before kickoff at 2pm as the FHU Women's Soccer team hosted the Patriots of the University of the Cumberlands.

University of the Cumberlands (9-2-3) wasted little time attacking the Lady Lion defense putting up a shot just 85 seconds into the game. Wakana Ose and Abby Schwarz traded goals before Ose was able to net one in the 8th minute. Three minutes later, Lisa Skjoldager added on another goal to extend the lead 2-0. The Patriots would have five more shots on goal in the next 20 minutes, all saved by Maria Paz Mora Silva, before the Patriots attack added two more goals in the next five minutes to take a 4-0 lead into the half.

It took almost 10 minutes for the first shot to be taken in the half, but that first shot found the back of the net off the foot of Tori Robertson for the Patriots. Villa and Klara Kozakova added goals within three minutes of each other before Cash Harris scored on her senior day in the 66th minute to put the Lady Lions on the board. The final 15 minutes of the game saw two more goals from the Patriots along with five yellow cards.

Maria Paz Mora Silva saved eight shots in the game, and Cash Harris and Abby Schwarz both putting up shots on their final home game of their careers.

This game concludes the regular season for the Freed-Hardeman Lions, and will be on the road for the first round of the conference tournament against an opponent TBD.
