SETTING THE STAGE
The Lions (6-1, 2-0) saw their six-game winning streak snapped at the hands of No. 5 Talladega (Ala.) on Monday, 69-57. Park (2-4, 1-1) won its last game, 69-64, over Lyon (Ark.) College. Junior center John Kotsanos scored a game-high 20 points in the win.

LAST TIME THEY MET
The Lions stayed perfect in AMC play after pulling away late for an 85-79 win over Park in Kansas City on Feb. 20, 2014. Kyle Teichmann scored 24 points and became the program's all-time leading scorer during the game.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Last season marked the first-ever meetings between the schools and FHU won both in narrow fashion. The Lions won the inaugural contest in Henderson on Jan. 16, 2014, 78-72 after scoring the game's last six points.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME
Due to set-up for the annual Freed-Hardeman Benefit Dinner, tonight's game will be played in Jackson, Tenn., at Union University's Fred Delay Gymnasium. The game will be considered a home game for record purposes.

PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Freed-Hardeman has taken the last three AMC Player of the Week honors, two by Evan Forhetz and one by Cameron Lewis. Forhetz took the award on Nov. 17 and Dec. 1, while Lewis won the award on Nov. 24.

FORHETZ CHECK
Junior guard Evan Forhetz has made a big difference for the Lions in his first season after transferring from Lee (Tenn.) University. He currently leads the nation in assist average (7.1 per game) and is fourth in 3-point shooting percentage (58.3 percent). He also ranks 14th in steals per game with 2.6 and is second on the team in scoring at 16.4 points per game.

ON THE GLASS
Senior forward Vincent Dotson has been big on the boards for the Lions this season, averaging 9.3 per game to lead the conference. He has grabbed 10 or more rebounds in four of the team's seven games this season.

LEWIS MAKING IMPACT
Senior transfer Cameron Lewis has been huge for FHU this season, picking up much of the scoring load left by graduation. The 6-foot-1 guard from Nashville is averaging 20.6 points per game, good for 13th in the nation, while shooting 53.2 percent from the floor.

TOUGH LOSS
The Lions shot a season-low 38.6 percent in Monday's 69-57 loss to No. 5 Talladega (Ala.) College. The cold shooting was seen everywhere as FHU also made only 4-of-22 from 3-point range and 9-of-18 from the free throw line. Outside of Forhetz, the team was a combined 1-for-16 from behind the arc; and outside of Lewis, the team was a combined 1-of-7 from the free throw line.

SCOUTING THE PIRATES
Park has played a difficult non-conference schedule with three games against nationally-ranked teams. The Pirates dropped a pair of close games to No. 4 Benedictine (Kan.) and upset No. 11 MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) on a neutral floor. Junior transfer B.J. Watson led the team in scoring through its first four games (15.3 ppg), but has missed the team's last two contests. John Kotsanos is the only other player averaging in double-figures (10.5 ppg). The Pirates have struggled somewhat with their shooting, making only 40.9 percent of their field goal attempts on the season and 32.0 percent of their 3-point attempts

WITHOUT BROWN
The Pirates have been without 2014 Third-Team NAIA All-American Xavielle Brown thus far this season. Brown averaged 19.8 points and 6.4 rebounds per game last season. He proved to be a difficult matchup for the Lions, averaging 24.5 points per game in the two contests in 2014.
