HENDERSON, Tenn. – The Lady Lions (7-5, 6-3 AMC) won their fourth straight game on Tuesday night by defeating Williams Baptist (3-10-1, 2-7-1 AMC) 3-0 on Tuesday night.

The win was highlighted by Sam Clymer when she scored her record-breaking 34th goal of her career in the seventh minute, passing Hall-of-Famer Leslie Tiensvold for most career goals as a Lady Lion.

Clymer transferred in to FHU in 2017, and in her first year, she scored a single-season record 20 goals. After a seven-goal season a year ago, the senior has scored six on the year this season, putting her atop the all-time list. She scored the goal after a Hannah Bilger shot was saved by the Eagles keeper, and Clymer was in the perfect spot to rebound and put the ball in the net.

The Lady Lions would take five more shots in the first half, but would not find the back of the net, taking the 1-0 lead into halftime.

The final 45 minutes was all Lady Lions, as they took 12 shots to Williams Baptist's zero. They would put two in the net, first by Bilger who scored a miraculous goal from a near impossible angle in the 55th minute, and Haley Heffington would add one of her own after following up a shot by Abbey Redferrin that was saved in the 79th minute.

The Lady Lions will try to keep their win streak alive when they travel to Missouri Baptist on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
