FULTON, Mo. – The Lady Lions (3-5, 2-3 AMC) fell short at William Woods on Saturday, losing 4-1 to the Owls on the road.

The visitors had their chances early on but were unable to find the back of the net. William Woods jumped out to an early 1-0 in the 16th minute and would take that lead into halftime.

In the second half, the Owls got hot and were able to score three goals within 10 minutes of each other. Hannah Bilger was able to put the Lady Lions on the board in the 86th minute, but the game was out of reach.

FHU will travel to Hannibal-LaGrange next Saturday, and they will take on the Trojans at 1 p.m.
