WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — The Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions soccer team went on their final road trip of the regular season against the No. 9 University of the Cumberlands Patriots. A seven-goal second half was too much for FHU as the hosts won 9-0.
The Lady Lions (0-13-1, 0-5-0 MSC) faced 17 shots in the first half with keeper
Ava Pierce keeping out eight with saves.
Six minutes into the second half the Patriots (10-3-3, 3-2-0 MSC) netted the first of their seven second-half goals. By the final whistle, Cumberlands had fired off 40 shots with 22 being on target.

The regular season concludes at the Josh Riley Soccer Complex against the No. 22 Lindsey Wilson University Blue Raiders on October 25. With kickoff at 2:00 p.m., the Lady Lions will also celebrate their seniors.
