Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Lady Lions (7-0) kept their unbeaten streak alive with a 3-1 win (25-17, 25-21, 19-25, 25-13) over Cottey College (3-9) in their first match at the Eutectics Classic.

The Lady Lions never trailed in the opening two sets, and they led by as many as 11 in the first set before winning by eight.

It was a different ball game in the third set, though, as the Comets only trailed twice before getting on the board and forcing a fourth set. That fourth and final set was all FHU, though, who dominated from the start before winning by 12.

The Lady Lions were led offensively by Claire Walker and Kacey Donegan, who had 13 and 12 kills, respectively. Emma Self finished the match with 19 assists, and Allie Humpry was just behind her with 15 of her own.

Reilly Fulton continued to dominate on the defensive side, totaling a game-high 25 digs. Self completed the double-double with 12 digs.

The Lady Lions will have two matches on Saturday, starting with Saint Ambrose at 10 a.m., followed by Lincoln College at 12 noon. Both games can be watched at https://portal.stretchinternet.com/eutecticsports/.
